ADULTS
SEEKING SACRAMENTS
RCIA is an acronym for the Rite of Christian Initiation of
Adults - the faith formation process which each parish is
asked to follow in preparing adults to receive the
sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist.

Who Else Can Participates in the RCIA Process?
 Adults from another Christian tradition - Baptist,

Methodist, Episcopalians, etc. - who wish to become
members of the Catholic Church.
 Adults who were baptized into the Catholic Church as
infants and who now wish to receive the sacraments of
Confirmation and Holy Eucharist.

How Long is the Preparation Process ?
At OLPH, the preparation sessions are held weekly from
early September until after Easter.

Meeting Day and Time
Sessions are held every Thursday evening from
