What if Purchase College Library does not have an item I need?

We can get most items for you (books, articles, DVDs, etc.) from other libraries. If you find that we do not
have something you need, please use our InterLibrary Loan service (called ILLiad) to request materials.
 This service is free to all Purchase students, faculty, and staff.

How do I cite my sources?

Before citing, you should ask your advisor which style of citation would be best suited for your project.
Then visit our Citation Guide for help with different citation styles.

Zotero is a helpful citation manager for long term projects. Zotero can help you organize your resources
and create a bibliography or works cited list in various citation formats. If you need help getting started
using this resource, please visit the Zotero guide, or ask a librarian for assistance.

How do I get help from a librarian?

You can get help from a librarian 24/7! You can use our Ask a Librarian page to chat online with a

work best for you? It's worth asking yourself a few basic but important questions before deciding on which
citation manager you're going to use to support your research projects.
