What is a Freight Forwarder?

A Freight Forwarder is a person
engaged in the business of assembling,
collection, consolidating, shipping and
distributing Freight or Cargo.

AND

A person acting as an Agent in the
trans-shipping of freight to or from
foreign countries and the clearing of
freight through Customs, including full
preparation of documents, arranging
for shipping, warehousing and delivery.
