Importance of Motivation & Quality W orking (S elf Motivation) in Young Generation World has changed, the things have gone from fast to extreme. In such environment the pressure has been to 4 folds as compared to the 80-90’s. A nice line quoted by Shri Viru Sahastra Buddhi aka Virus Buddha: Life is a race … If you don’t run fast… you will be like a broken andaa…Because of this philosophy there is immense compe on to survive. But this compe on has also given bad health, mental pressure and depression. In 70-80-90’ era it was about hard work and dedica on.Now its all about working smart and keep the work interes ng.To achieve this the most important factors are Mo va on and Quality Working. “You don’t build a business, “69% of employees say that they would you build people and then work harder if they were be er people build the business” recognized” Mo va ng employees by Quality working is about finding the effec ve communica on can happiness in your work. I started my career by joining Gaspoint in the year 2000. Definitely it was a small start but with the passage of me, witnessed self growth as well as growth of the organiza on during my tenure of 21 years. While joining, I never thought of such long tenure but the support, guidance & coopera on of colleagues and the advice of seniors helped a lot. During my tenure, I had witnessed various ups & downs, wherein the company as well as I extended support to each other. It is worthwhile to men on here that at mes I was required to work round the clock, but as is said ‘Nothing Can Deter A Determined Mind’, I con nued and successfully emerged out of them. It is during my tenure in the organiza on I got married and blessed with two children and by the grace of God all is fine. Here I would like to point out some names, whose guidance & coopera on was most – Elesh Sir, Jain Sir, Vimal Sir and the last but not the least Ni n Sir. Also I would make men on of certain names, who as my colleagues had traversed a long journey with me – Nilesh Jain, Milind Ingle, Sandeep Muley, Abdul Hamid Khan, Sandip Dubey, Nive a ji, Girish Thakur, Janki Madam, Vaishali Madam & Mohini Madam. I feel pleasure in men oning some names who as colleagues are s ll con nuing – Raman Iyer, Sunil Bisen, Bhaskar Chetule & Jagdish Thaware. I had devoted golden period of my life in serving the organiza on and in all these years I had developed an a achment with the organiza on as well as peers & superiors and now at this stage no wish but to pass en re life in discharging dedicated & devoted services to organiza on. I convey my message to all that ‘dedicated & devoted services in the long run can only yield self growth as well as result in organiza on growth.

R atul Chakrav orty “What brought us here

would not take us there...” It gives me immense pleasure to put forward my thoughts on the first issue of “Confidence Clouds”. We are leaving behind a year that will go down in history as one of the most challenging year! But all to our resilience we are back to our feet, running for prosperity, health & success. Our Company today stands in the threshold of tremendous leap for growth in our top line and bo om line very much like the athlete of our group logo! We all would be fortunate to see the growth of our organiza on in the near future as one of the largest CNG Cylinder manufacturer in Asia and also establishing several CNG & ALDS Sta ons which would put us right in the top. But with growth comes responsibility too and in line with same I've few thoughts which I think would help our organiza on and ourselves in the process of our growth story :1. Aligned to organiza onal vision: - We all should be aligned to the vision of our CMD that sky is the limit. There can be occasions where we have a difference of opinion, but for the larger benefit we should learn to agree to disagree. As a process of our growth, we should also remember what brought us here would not take us there, so it's important that we quickly unlearn things and learn what is apt for ours and our organiza ons tomorrow. 2. Collabora ve approach: - We all are working hard but many a mes it so happens that we work in independent silos, it's important that we have a collabora ve approach towards our work holding hands of our colleagues to ensure we grow together. 3. Humane approach: - Studies reveal that close to 60 % of our ac ve me we spend in office every day. Hence, it's important we keep ourselves and people around us happy and mo vated. Please remember posi vity spreads but nega vity spreads faster. We should have empathy for our colleagues and remember that we are all only as good as our team. Warmly, Ratul

LOVE YOU ALL

Greetings !

We all are experiencing Na Bhuto Na Bhavishya ' situa on since last 2 ½ years due to Pandemic of Covid 19 taking toll of lacs of lives worldwide, posing various challenges to governments, businesses, causing social & economic disrup ons. It's not over yet, a er deadly Delta mutant, now its Omicron. We can make plans & predic ons hoping for the best and preparing for the worst. Perhaps one of the most difficult challenges of any life or any business today is adequately preparing for the future. Tomorrow remains a mystery. The world is undergoing increasingly rapid, unpredictable and unprecedented change. No industry is immune to the impact of Covid 19. While many business en es, companies and organiza ons have already wiped out, many s ll poses an existence threat. This is me to revisit basic assump ons of how businesses will operate post pandemic adap ng the new normal to outperform. Organiza ons that embrace this idea of “Change is inevitable” will only be able to outlast the compe on & thrive. Being in business, we are familiar of the 4Ps of marke ng mix Product, Price, Place & Promo on. During current scenario, for any business that's embarking on a change management, I think, R AJ AS HR E E we need to revisit & reframe these 4Ps to four basic aspects of any business PPIT - People, Process, Innova on & Technology that will drive the business transforma on journey of any organiza on during this post pandemic session.

India being largest democracy in the world, conduc ng general elec ons where millions of ci zens cast their votes across the country is a massive affair. The process ini ates with marking of cons tuencies in every state & UT with roughly similar size of popula on, registra on of poli cal par es & voters, regularizing poli cal campaigns, polling booth infrastructure & manpower, capturing votes in EVM, coun ng & declara on of results, ensuring security at all poll booths. Turnout of 60-75% almost the same as in western democracies speaks of the success of en re elec on process. Imagine the quantum of planning, execu on, analysis & detailing involved in every step of elec on process that makes us a democra c country. This is one of the best test case of effec ve u liza on of process approach telecasted on Na onal Geography as well & that the world acknowledges.

P eople, P roces s , Innovation & Technology People in organiza on includes employees, customers, vendors, investors, share-holders etc. They form the founda on of pyramid & even the organiza ons. Resources viz. raw material, machine, equipment are abundantly available to all but the people or teams that form an organiza on can only create leadership posi on & drive change management. As organiza ons grow larger & older, they inevitably create a self-glorified bureaucracy not updated with current industrial trends, norms, prac ces & technology. Working with such leaders, people lose sight of business goals & remain internally focused. Leadership must build trust in teams & ensure culture of learning & unlearning. While reflec ng on current condi ons or future plans, business leader's experience, innova on & knowledge, quali es of decisiveness, speed, flexibility, adaptability to change, adop on of new technologies, combined with enthusiasm, & technology quest of young team will augment the growth process. Great collabora ve & interac ve teams can create a dis nct posi on for company in the market. Imagine a football team where scoring goals is the KRA for strikers & defending goals is the KRA for defenders and their bonuses are ghtly linked to performance on these metrics. Should a defender let go a chance to score or a striker not prevent an opposi on's goal? A er all, business, like football, is a team game and the emphasis should be on the team success rather than individual performance. Process is a predefined way in which several value adding ac vi es are orchestrated inside an organiza on. Processes play a vital role in efficient and effec ve func oning of the organiza on. As business grows in size, there are several rou ne ac vi es that should happen on autopilot mode. These ac vi es viz. developing new customers, fulfilling customer orders, manufacturing products, procuring materials and developing new products, product recall, managing customer feedback, IT & technology, administra ve & HR, finance & accoun ng etc. are largely invisible to the outside world but have a direct bearing on the quality and consistency of the organiza on's products & services. game and the emphasis should be on the team success rather than individual performance. Processes are organiza on's habits. They help organiza ons to avoid expanding managerial bandwidth on making thousands of decisions every day, just like habits enable individuals to conserve mental bandwidth and stay produc ve. All Business processes must be reviewed to adapt current virtual scenario post pandemic & improvement projects taken up based on current & future business needs. Changes in any processes should be made only a er thorough analysis of current process & its output.

Business Innova on is bringing something new and crea ve to a company – it could be a new strategy, new market, new process, and new product & so on that will bring new life to the company adding value to your business & increase in profits. Innova ve business leaders come up with or pay heed to crea ve ideas & with strategic planning and decision making implement those new business ideas successfully. This culture of business innova on, can add value either to its exis ng products, services, processes, supply chain, technology, or may even create a new business stream, alliances etc. In today's era of globaliza on & technological advancement, disrup ng all industries and businesses, markets change very rapidly increasing the compe veness than ever before. Innova ve thinking helps you predict the market & keep up customer needs. What happens if business don't innovate is well established in business stories of brands like Nokia & Kodak Cameras. In last decade, a few companies succeeded greatly using innova ve technology triggering a paradigm shi by impac ng industries. Amazon revolu onized retail industry, Uber hanged the taxi business, Apple changed music and consumer electronics, Airbnb changed the accommoda on industry, Facebook established social network market, Whatsapp established personal communica on market & the list goes on. The millennial & Gen Z employees who has wide exposure to technology & knowledge, want to work with fast moving companies with innova ve work environment. Innova on & Knowledge is an important strategic asset of any organiza on & it is a sum total of crea vity, skills, experiences, capabili es and expert insights which is created collec vely & relied on in business. Every leader must be innova ve & remain updated on happenings in their field, else they could lose credibility and poten ally expose the company to risks. One can keep updated by reading professional journals, research papers, e-newsle ers ar cles, a ending industry events, seminars, webinars, conferences, workshops etc. Ensure spending minimum three hours a week on upda ng your knowledge.

Technology has become inevitable part of our day to day lives today. Technology incredibly improves efficiency of man & machine, eases communica on & co-ordina on, provides data at a click of bu on, data analysis enabling accurate strategic decisions, etc. During pandemic, consumers have moved drama cally toward online channels and businesses have responded in turn. Digital adop on has taken a quantum leap during Covid 19 pandemic. It has accelerated digital transforma on & pushed companies over the technology pping point and transformed businesses for forever. In a survey conducted by McKinsey, 66% respondents say they have been able to complete ini a ves that previously encountered resistance. Companies have accelerated the digitaliza on of their customer, supply chain & internal interac ons by several years & these could be long haul changes. To stay compe ve in this new business and economic environment requires new strategies and prac ces. Technology has suddenly become cri cal & strategic component of business & not just a source of cost efficiency. Digitaliza on has been one of the most important trends in India over the past few years that we have emerged as second fastest digital adopter among seventeen major digital economies. Since the launch of “Digital India” program in 2015, there have been significant improvements in digital infrastructure, digital delivery of public & financial services to ci zens and in enhancing digital consciousness and literacy. Today we see even small vegetable, kirana, tea vendors, and hawkers adop ng digital technology in their small businesses. When I look back, I remember, how at CPIL, we transformed our en re Business Development Process that was 100% offline to online mode with amazing results. Virtual mee ngs with our exis ng channel network improved our customer engagement compared to earlier. Regular virtual mee ngs with regional teams improved the employee engagement, communica on channel & efficiencies of team. It is essen al to have valuable employees understanding the importance of technology, adding more value by automa on of various business processes in day to day opera ons & believing in data driven decisions. The game has changed too much, business as usual might not be normal. Focusing on above 4 basic aspects of businesses - PPIT, leadership & team reimagining how they recover, operate, organize and use technology, will help recovering revenues, rebuilding opera ons, rethinking the business processes and accelera ng the adop on of digital solu ons. Wishing you & your family Very Happy, Prosperous & Safe New Year Ahead.

How to deal with stress? A guide on dealing with stress and the effects it can have on your dayto-day life. The word “stress” has a lot of connota ons. Aside from jokes, it is the most commonly used word among urban Indians in ordinary speech. You must have firsthand knowledge of stress; some of you may have read ar cles or a ended stress management seminars led by famous gurus. How to deal with stress We will not discuss stress in all of the ways described above. Instead, we'll talk about our stress experiences, both yours and mine. The imposed discipline, in my opinion, makes simple tasks impossible. Fixed methods, in my opinion, do not work for everyone, at least not for me. If they suit you, go ahead and use them. The first principle is this: “Do your own thing,” . Find out what makes you happy and iden fy your own soothing, calming elements. Find out what makes you happy and then go a er it. I'll tell you about my friend Jeetu's personal storey. Jeetu had everything he needed in his life. Great family, lovely wife, lovely children, and he was living in a large joint family with his parents. But everything seemed insignificant to him. He desired to have everything at once. Just now, Heis blessed with a house, a car, fame, success, and money. He was always envious of others' large salaries, despite the fact that he was paid fairly well for his skills and experience. It was now his desire to desire what he lacked. He took shortcuts such as job hopping and paid a high price later in life by causing instability in his family and career. He lost everything due to constant uncertainty, affec ng his life. His career, life and family life suffered a downfall. In life, no good deed goes unno ced. His ac ons sparked a chain reac on that he couldn't control. By experience, Jeetu learned the meaning of words like financial discipline, restrain, savings, humbleness, and many others. A er his recovery, he learned to look for happiness in things other than money. I recall him telling me that his greatest fear was being labelled a failure. It's a joke, but it's true. He couldn't seem to figure out what was most important to him. Ways to relieve stress As a result, make sure your priori es are in order in your life. Most of us are only capable of comple ng one task at a me. So make sure your life's priori es are in order. Place family and happiness at the top of your priority list, and the rest will fall into place. Remember to stay true to yourself. We o en say things like “Are yaar main to yeh saab kar chukka hun” or “Are yaar main to yeh saab kar chukka hun.” That's a white lie, to be sure. If it isn't working, then your truth isn't up to par. Be more honest with yourself, and try to accept yourself as you are. It's important to remember that if something isn't working for you, it's not for you. You must not do something just because everyone else is doing it or because it is fashionable. Take a look at my defini on of stress: When things go against us, we experience a lot of stress. How does stress affect rela onships? When you want something and don't get it, you're stressed. When you expect something to happen the way you want it to, and it doesn't, you become stressed. Inconsiderate boss, Children are not listening, Wife refuses to listen – anxiety. Husband is not listening, Stress is frequently the result of a misalignment between past performance and future goals. Unfortunately, we have no control over the past or the future. What is the best way to deal with stress? Everyone knows the level of their own performance in a given situa on and has a fair understanding of the situa on's outcome. In the broadest sense. We, on the other hand, refuse to accept this. We want a bigger piece of the pie than we deserve, which causes stress. So, will accep ng our own flaws and failings actually help? Yes, they may not help you advance in your studies or career, but they will undoubtedly help you advance in life. This statement is not the same as expecta ons or goals. Ambi ons and success are reserved for those who can cope with failure and adversity. Rather, I would say that what I can do is unimportant; what ma ers is that you recognise what you can't do and stop was ng your me trying. What are some ps on how to let go of your own stress? Recognize your feelings. Throughout the day, people express a wide range of emo ons. Love, hate, joy, sorrow, jealousy, and a variety of other emo ons. If only one type of emo on arises repeatedly instead of all, there is clearly a problem.

Consider the possibili es: if you have a pen, you can write with it; if you have an axe, you can cut with it; if you have a bike, you can ride it. You can't cut or write with a pen or an axe. Emo ons are the same way. Consider expressing annoyance as rage. Anger can be interpreted as ignorance, or happiness can be interpreted as something else en rely. The majority of people make the same mistake over and over again. I'm not sure about the emo onal distress it causes, but I am certain about the communica on breakdown it causes and the stress it causes. So iden fy your appropriate emo on and express or vent it in the appropriate manner. Anger should be expressed as anger, humility should be expressed as humility, serenity should be expressed as serenity, irrita on should be expressed as irrita on, helplessness What are some ps on how to let go of your own stress? That's all there is to it. When you achieve this, you will no ce that you are now confronted with a plethora of new things in your life that you were previously unaware of. Life will be easier, and stress will be reduced or eliminated. Remember that a be er life can be achieved by focusing on three key areas. Physical, mental, and spiritual health are all important. When you improve your physical well-being, your mental well-being improves as well. Have you heard of the phrase “a healthy mind in a healthy body?” But on a spiritual level, all you have to do is strike a balance with stress. So join a gym, go for a walk, cycle, do yoga, pranayam, or anything else you can think of. You will undoubtedly feel be er with a be er body. Try medita on, or if you're like me, you'll find fulfilment in anything. Take up a hobby, write, and make a change. On your desk, write normal is boring. If you con nue to live your life as you have, nothing will change. Don't make any major changes. Begin with a small one. Changing a pen, handkerchief, ou it, hairstyle, or even footwear, or anything else that you can carry off comfortably, are all examples of small changes. Once you've go en used to small changes, you can move on to bigger ones. It will be less difficult. It is not about the god or the temple when it comes to spirituality. The spirituality to which I refer here is more akin to serenity. Is it possible to fall asleep in your bed without your mind wandering? If you answered yes, you've reached your limit of spirituality. Remember that sleeping with worries is not the same as sleeping with a clear mind. To achieve this, you must refrain from gossiping and behaving in a snobbish manner. You must truly believe that by doing good to others, good will come to you. My favourite quote is “I have seen so many different types of pasts that the future can't surprise me.” I'm not sure who said it, but it's true. So put the past behind you, give it away, and let it go. If you look beyond today for the future, you will lose your today as well. Manage, dream, plan, act, and execute your today because it's the best place to be and the best way to be. You will never experience stress in your life.
